Typically eyelash extensions last for 4-6 weeks. However, fills 2-3 weeks after initial application is recommended. Our eyelash hair has 3 growth cycles (anagen, catagen, and telogen). There are lashes in each phase at all times, therefore some will be shed in a couple days while some stay on longer. Normally, you shed 2-5 hairs a day! The average person has 90-120 natural lashes per eye. So, let's average this out at 3 per day: 1 week = lose 21 lashes 2 weeks = lose 42 lashes 3 weeks = lose 63 lashes So in order to maintain your lashes, you should get fills! -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Before Appointment: 1. Come with 100% clean lashes (no mascara, makeup, or curled lashes). 2. Remove contact lenses and wear glasses instead. 3. Avoid oil based products around the eyes. 4. Shower prior to the appointment because you will be avoiding water and steam for the next 24-48 hours. 5. Come 5-10 mins early for a free consultation. After Appointment: DON'T 1. Don’t get your lashes wet for the first 24-48 hours 2. Don’t apply mascara or false (strip) eyelashes onto your extensions, you will ruin them! 3. Don’t rub your eyes 4. Don’t use any oily or oil-based products around your eyes 5. Don’t wear heavy eye makeup on a daily basis 6. Don’t use mascara, cream shadows, and gel/pencil liners DO'S 1. Do clean extensions from dirt, grime and makeup residue with a gentle foaming cleanser or baby shampoo 2. Do use oil free makeup remover 3. Do brush extensions daily with the provided spoolie (mascara wand) 4. Do use a felt tip liner or powder shadow pif you need to 5. Do schedule fills every 2-3 weeks for timely touch-ups to keep lashes looking fresh 6.
